The Opportunity

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Senior Corporate Safety Analyst for a position located in Henderson, Colorado.

The Senior Corporate Safety Analyst will provide expert-level consulting, analytics, reporting, benchmarking and statistical trending of injury and safety-performance information.

The role supports regulatory reporting requirements while also helping develop, monitor and report on internal safety-performance goals across business areas and organizational levels.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens or green card holders and should have at least five years of experience working with or administering safety programs.

Position Overview

This position combines safety data analytics, OSHA recordkeeping expertise, injury reporting, benchmarking, software administration and organization-wide safety-performance reporting.

Senior Corporate Safety Analyst Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, benchmark, track and statistically trend safety information in support of corporate and business-area safety performance improvement teams and goals.
  • Develop, support, track and trend internal safety performance goals and provide detailed periodic reporting on current status.
  • Research safety-industry performance standards and report findings to management.
  • Establish new processes when needed to support additional or revised safety-reporting requirements.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping regulations and interpretations.
  • Manage and maintain company-wide injury reporting software, including troubleshooting and supporting business-area administrators.
  • Provide software training and manage security access controls.
  • Consult with multiple levels of the organization to support proper injury and illness reporting.
  • Provide appropriate non-confidential safety data when requested by OSHA, industry organizations such as EEI and AGA, or safety councils.
  • Ensure reported information is accurate, complete and delivered on time.
  • Help ensure valid and credible reporting practices and procedures are consistently followed across business areas and operating companies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Industrial Safety, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience working with or administering safety programs.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting safety statistics.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Access.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
