The Opportunity

One Tech Engineering is searching for a CAD Designer for a position located in North St. Paul, Minnesota.

The CAD Designer will use AutoCAD software to create detailed and accurate technical drawings for millwork, doors, frames and shelving used for approval and production.

The role works collaboratively with team members, architects, contractors and other professionals to translate project requirements into accurate technical drawing packages.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens or green card holders and should have working knowledge of AutoCAD. The position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Position Overview

This role combines AutoCAD drafting, production documentation, material lists, cost estimates, drawing accuracy, template management and ongoing drawing revisions.

CAD Designer Responsibilities

  • Work with team members, architects, contractors and other professionals to produce drawings that meet project specifications.
  • Create detailed and accurate technical drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Support drawings for millwork, doors, frames and shelving used for approval and production.
  • Prepare related technical documents, including material lists and cost estimates.
  • Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with applicable industry standards.
  • Maintain and organize a library of standard drawing templates.
  • Update existing drawings as new project information becomes available.
