E&C Engineer

One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado.

The E&C Engineer will be responsible for managing capital engineering projects from initiation through completion.

The position leads full project lifecycle management while coordinating project scope, procurement, engineering design, contractors, vendors, field execution and project closeout.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens or green card holders and should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, five or more years of related engineering experience and at least two years of project management experience.

E&C Engineer Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management including scope development, execution and closeout.
• Validate project justification and ensure stakeholder requirements are incorporated into project scope.
• Manage project budget, schedule, quality and safety performance.
• Coordinate procurement activities including hiring engineering consultants and contractors and ordering required materials and equipment.
• Oversee project execution and conduct periodic field visits to monitor progress.
• Ensure vendors, contractors and suppliers comply with applicable contract requirements.
• Review and support design documentation and engineering drawings.
• Conduct vendor and shop inspections and witness equipment testing when required.
• Collaborate with operations, environmental, sourcing, project controls and engineering teams.
• Facilitate project closeout and transition completed projects to operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or a related engineering discipline.
• Five or more years of related engineering experience.
• Two or more years of project management experience.
• Experience in utility, energy or oil and gas industries is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP is preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is preferred.
